Door lock problems on my 2005 LS430
I posted on the forum about an issue with my door locks not working when our temps rise in Texas. They are fine in the winter but it's getting frustrating.
Anyone have a great mechanic in DFW who can repair the locks?

Can’t say I’ve met a “great” mechanic in the DFW area. But, a call to Davenport Motors in Plano or to Berlinis Automotive off NW Highway in Dallas may be worthwhile. Good luck.

Hey everyone. My name is Vince and I live in Fort Worth. I don't currently own a Lexus but I'm actively searching for an IS300, GS350, or an IS350. I'm *trying* to stay under $6K on a purchase. Anyway, looking forward to learning more here.
Fun fact: it's a running joke how many cars I've had. This will be car #19 when I find it and I'm only 31. Some fun cars I've had have been a 93 RX7 with an LS1, 00 Camaro SS with 425hp, 02 Firehawk, 91 Camaro with 73k original miles, and the others are boring, ha.
Edit: Got my first Lexus. A 2001 IS300 with 149k miles.

Whats up guys, name is Stephen and I am from San Antonio (sadly we don't have our own lexus club that I am aware of, maybe I can change that one day). Currently have a 2017 Camry as my daily, but just put the deposit down on a 2017 LX570 that I will be picking up when I get back from San Francisco.

What's going on ladies and gents,
I have a regular follower of CL since I got my RC350 a couple months ago but just found this today. Got a 2016 used with only 2,700 miles on it. It is a work in progress with only minor mods so far but keeping finding stuff all the time I want to do. I am up in the north FW area. Look forward to following the goings on here and maybe catching one of the meets people keep trying to organize one day.

Welcome, check out the IS forums for mod ideas. First mods I would start simple, chrome delete if you are into that sort of thing, debadging, plasti-dipping the badges, window tint, etc. Move up from there. Wheels are a personal matter, I known my RC forum has a wheel fitment thread that shows tons of wheel ideas with their brand, color, size, offset, etc and it gave me some great ideas.

New CL Member in Grapevine area - SC430 Owner
I recently picked up a 2002 SC430 with about 90K miles in good condition. I have really fallen in love with this car...so much fun! I am looking forward to joining the North Texas CL community and hope to learn a lot from the members.
