Who says people jump for joy for higher end wheels. Expensive doesnt always buy taste. Those rims just dont look good as I see it but if he likes it go for it. Not my cup of tea.

The wheel you posted was not one of Sterns better looking wheels.

Take a look at the ST-1 Face III Beast, ST-2 Touring sport, and the ST-7/8 Hyper Mesh. All will look significantly better than the wheel you posted and can be had at pretty much the same size/price. If you need a visual Paul at the Wed night meets has the ST-1's on his 240. Gottagitmines has the ST-2's on his GS as well.

If you're looking at Stern-type wheels, also look into Ruff Racing and XXR. Pretty good lookin wheels for that price range, some of which clear BBK.

NTL are far from wheel snobs (minus Johnny), but you can still have a good looking wheel without breaking the bank.

Mine are....in a WAY similar. not flat surface on the (spokes?) and but still the 5 star look. These are DUB "dirty dogs"

I bent a wheel one day on a huge hole. Needed one asap. Factory wheel was over $800 so I figured I may as well spend a bit more on new set. I had two options without waiting. I picked the better of the two and couldnt be happier.

I think ST-2 would definetly give the SC a mean look...

Too many rivets for me to vote for either. Just can't get into those rivets. Too busy.

3-piece forged rims in a 20" would look nice.

Get the black ones, the meisters are mine

back on topic...
If you want a nice 5 spoke, take a look at the Ruff Racing R278, its a split 5 spoke but they look better than the sterns. The R279 is a clean 6 spoke as well. I believe both clear BBK.

Out of the 5 spokes of Ruff Racing, I like the R285. Has kind of a resemblance to Maya MRS...
