The car currently is in outdoor storage. Have update the post to show what the MR2 looks like under the cover. Due to the car being outdoors, I think the paint can use some attention to bring out the shine.

Considering detailing the car soon as the weather improves and adding new photos.

I'm selling my 1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo w/ a 1MZFE Toyota V6 engine conversion 90% completed. The Car has 110K miles while the V6 engine has 80K miles and has been ported and polished professionally.

I bought the car in 2011 from the owner in California and had it shipped to Westmont, IL with the intention on finishing the engine swap myself. I got married that summer, got my MBA, changed careers and moved 2x in the last 3 years. Needless to say my car's been in storage this whole time untouched.

My needs for a car have changed and my wife's not too keen on me having a 2 seater play car. So now I'm offering my diamond in the rough MR2 V6 project car for sale.

Here's what's included:

- 3rd owner with title in hand
- I know all about the history of this car and have maintenance records and a log book from previous owners

- Over $5,000.00 in parts/mods will do my best to list everything below:

- I've never driven this car. It has been in storage for 3 years.
-The 1MZFE engine swap is 90% completed, some wiring and some parts and its complete.
-1MZ-FE swap with the turbo (E153) transmission.
- Car was well maintained with FULL maintenance records going back several years. Original 3SGTE engine miles were at approx. 110K.
- Car will need exhaust
- Original 3SGTE motor was SOLD long ago.
- Buyer will need to source the engine harness to complete the swap. MR220V is an excellent source on the MR2 forums & can make a custom harness to drastically simplify & speed up the process to finish this.
- Title is available immediately

- Drivers side A-piller with 2 gauge cluster installed.

Because my car's in an almost completed project state, I'm willing to sell it as is and cut my loss

These cars with V6 engines are quick (same performance out of the box as stock Gen 2 turbo models), light, superb handling and very fun to drive with the V6 engine.
