Hey all,

Just curious, when I renew online, does the renewal effective date start AFTER the date of expiration of the old registration or is it active the day of registration? Mine is set to expire Dec 2.

Just wondering if there is any advantage to do it now as oppose to a few days before. I don't want to lose the month that I currently still have.

I believe in NY you have the remainder of whatever month it expires in to renew it, so you will have a new reg that expires either one or 2 years (whichever NY does, can't remember) from last day of december.

 

It starts the day after your current regristration expires.
