Facebook page said it starts at 12, so we rolled up around 1:45 and couldnt get in the lot. I was told that it started at 10am? Anywho this meet is extreemly unorgonized, wasnt too happy about driving down 1.5 hours and only hanging out for 1 hour or so and leaving. If i knew it started earlier i would of came down earlier. It was nice talking to a select few i saw, i was already kinda pissed about the whole situation so i really didnt get to enjoy myself.

 

I'm sorry about your ill feelings, when I got there everybody was gone... But it could have been better organized

 

Unfortunately the majority of the NELOC people were at the BBQ which was scheduled the same weekend as this meet. This is usually in the top three meets of the year but those that schedule the BBQ have never been to this meet and they have had no experience with it. I do appologize for my last minute cancellation but I did have wedding planning to do that came up at the last minute.

 

BBQ was Saturday and College park meet was a Sunday

 

yea bbq n CPM was 2 different days ....
we had ppl come up from MD n VA n PA ...

just wanna say should try the BBQ next time ... atleast we had food n everyone stuck together =)

 

I did intend on typing weekend. Two events in the same weekend are tough for most to attend.

 

I was thinking the BBQ but got sucked into the cpm event. And everyone left before I got there but there were other cars there too, just scattered everywhere. So next year, I think I'll do the BBQ

Meet wasn't orgainzed at all..but IS guys got there 10am with XA club and left at 3ish..got so much sunburnt and couldnt' stay any longer.

Chris, there's no "whoops" when I knew that the CPT meet was being held that same weekend. I made it a point to change the date of the BBQ to late April in the hopes of having more southern members come up to the ONE and only NJ meet we're having this season. When I saw that Springfest would've been the weekend right after the original BBQ date, I thought I'd do the south a favor and change the schedule (just so happened that the CPT meet was scheduled for the same). As we can see, that clearly wasn't appreciated enough.

 

it's not that it wasnt appreciated, its that not a lot of the nova NELOC people have ever been fans of driving 8+ hours for anything... then you add a show the next day we've been going to for 4 or 5 years, just didn't work out. i dont see why there has to be so much hate in the "family" right now..

 

had a good time, too bad things weren't more organized at CPT.. catch you guys at sumpspeed
