For the next meet in a few months, we can do a daytime caravan first, and then an evening parking garage event, likely at Towson University....at the Bill Bateman's garage. And then we can just eat at Bill Bateman's (they even have better food).

And maybe we do a Saturday instead of a Sunday, then less of us will be in a rush to depart at the end (just a thought).

But a great turnout of Lexuses, great job TJ and others putting together this meet. And the next one will be even better.
I also agree a saturday meet would be better which was what i was trying to do the first time but everyone said sundays work better. The meets can only get better from here on out!

can we do a baltimore meet south of the city next time or is that north of the city spot preferred by most members? just throwing this location out there but what about the arundel mills mall area¿

any place just south of the city would work much better for me, and maybe for those coming from nova locations and what not,, maybe on the north side of dc next time

Saturday's going to be better going forward, especially if you want to take advantage of some nighttime shots in the parking garage. It's going to be getting dark later soon, and then we'll have to move the meets to late in the day for those parking garage shots.....and by 7 or 8pm on a Sunday, people will be ansy to leave.

So, just plan a Saturday meet next time, about 4 hours before it gets dark. That gives us about 4 hours of daylight still shots and caravanning (for rolling shots) and then we can go eat....and then once it's dark, we can just go outside and do some nighttime parking garage shots. That would be a great day of driving and primo still shots if planned right.

If we meet in White Marsh again (not a bad idea), we can then plan to caravan right into Towson to eat at Bill Bateman's....and then meet, with a well-lit desolate parking garage right next door. This place has better food than Buffalo Wild Wings, with good seafood too:

Uh, I KNOW you're not complaining when we had 10 to 12 cars come down from NY/NJ/PA area. If they can come from that far north on a SUNDAY to support the meet, your lazy azz can drive an hour from Annapolis.

They'll be plenty of meets happening south of town too, this one doesn't need to be one of them.

You have to learn how to dodge the potholes and craters. No roads are worse then the roads in NY lol. Its like landmines all over.

Then just take the 695 East route and go over the Key Bridge

Seriously, I'm in NYC right now, with my Lexus on 20s. And I'm on the LIE, the BQE and the streets of Manhattan. NOTHING is as crappy as these roads. But I am adept at dodging, and I am lucky to have oversize tires on the front for protection (thank goodness!).

So, you can go through the tunnel and dodge a few holes along the way. I just went through there, and it's not too bad really....they've patched 'em all up, it's just rough, so it's bumpy. But passable for sure.

I expect to see you at the next meet, Sojah, and we can caravan up together. I'll take the smoothest route just for you.

that is about the roughest stretch of road, like you were saying its bumpy and rough. i actually bent one of my wheels last year about this time going through there... now i'm all skittish and go like 40 and **** off everyone around me when leaving out of the tool booth headed north for the first half mile. i was on 225x35x20 stretched and 255x30x20 stretched tires at the time.

last time i drove my car in NYC on the way back my stock air susp (had the air controller to ride slammed) went out and thats when i switched to coilovers,, now i just take the bus or my wifes car
