Default 2 Thumbs up for Maximum Tuning

I installed a OCV sensor and accidentally pulled the 2 thin wires out of the harness, of course lexus does not sell replacements and tried to sell me the entire engine harness for about 1000 bucks. so I called up Jeff at Maximum Tuning and he had a new replacement made and installed within 30min. right in time for me to make it to work. I've been bring my cars to Jeff for about 8yrs and never been disappointed.

Great experience! I wish there was a place in Staten Island like that.

I used to go to Jeff back when I had a Maxima. Good guy and does good work. If only he wasn't so damn far from me! He had a sick 6-speed Maxima years ago.

I used to go to Jeff awhile back when I had my SC300.. He did good work while it lasted and even though he was far from me, I originally started going to him after a friend of mine with a Maxima recommended him to me. I don't mean to change up the topic of this thread, but beware folks... he used to be a lot more reasonable with pricing before, then after his business picked up a bit he got more expensive. He had no customer loyalty towards me even though I gave him alot of business. I had a bad experience over a job one day... and instead of the mentality "customer is always right" he fought over the phone with me over how he was going to lawyer up against me. By the way this "little" mishap almost cost me my life!

I can def. understand your feelings towards his price increase, but I think since he is paying 2 guys now he probably needs to cover his overhead. not to glaze over your negative experience everything in life can't be 100%.positive
