Hey everyone... i had a quick question for anyone who had purchased a car in Massachusetts but live out of state.

How and what did you have to do to get temporary tags?

I found a car for the lady. Its in Mass, i live in PA.

Mass evidently does not issue temp tags.

And i was well informed from the dealer that before i drive up there to make arrangements.

Well... i would like to drive the car home. I called my insurance company to get temp insurance cards.

I just don't know what to do... and Mass to PA is a long drive... it's not like its just around the corner and i can just sneak it over.

 

Call the DMV in MA and ask them what you can do, that would be your best bet.

Wait... you said "dealer" as in dealership? Well if that's the case, they should issue temp tags for you.

 

You call PA DMV and get temp tags to drive home from MA to PA.

I live out of state and bought my car at a MA dealership. I threw my in state plates on it.
