road is relatively safe (since we have a bunch of people over exaggerating roads) and its a direct shot off the highway and then back on.
What time are you and your crew planning on coming into town Chance?
I dont know of this place if its anything like the carspa on holland road its an automated one that they run your car through and have people dry it off. Are you coming down on friday or saturday? People that are coming down Friday are getting together and washing cars at Freedom Wash in Chesapeake.

She just turned 3 on the 21st of April. She already into cars. Helped me last night clay barring the Range Rover. lol
Trukn should be able to provide us insight on the roads since he knows them better. Trukn, please chime in...
1. I-95/I295(Va)/ I-64 - All good road. Highway driving 2-4 lanes most of the way. For you guys that are lowered, you will be fine. I would advise that you not be SUPER slammed as the road does have a few sections where it dips a few times and you might scrape, but not badly. As long as you are at a reasonable drive height, you should be fine. Just PAY ATTENTION, as you should be doing anyway. As far as the road condition itself/potholes/ etc. is not too bad. Construction in a few places, however those areas will be WELL marked ahead of time and you will have time to get ready for it. As long as you don't drive like a maniac, you should be ok.
2. Backway to Va beach- From the Md area, you CAN take Rt301 to Rt 17 south(will bring you into Hampton, Va,, just shy of VB), but as others have mentioned it can take awhile since you will be travelling thru small towns and dealing with traffic lights in several areas, however it is nice scenery to drive thru,,not quite as crowded traffic wise,, and for those of you who prefer to do your rolling shots may be a safer area to do so in. Depending on the time of day,,can be quicker than going across I-64,, especially on a Friday @ rushhour.
Honestly,, your biggest concern going down into this area SHOULD be the amount of traffic going into the area over that of the roads. During rush hour, the 70/270/495/95/64 corridor CAN be very crowded, so plan accordingly. Have fun and practice safe caravaning. Follow one another, in caravan, @ a reasonable distance and you can watch the car in front of you react to what the road is doing and how the "leader" is reacting to the roads. Only person you can hold up is yourself in that instance.

I made it out here safe and sound. I took the normal way from I95 to I295 to I64. A little rough, just take it easy and keep alert. Left at 8am in the morning from Hanover, MD and arrived at noon in Va. Beach! Now working from a friend's home office to get some work done before hanging out tonight.

Can't wait to see you all there!!!!
