Now that the weather is clearing up a bit, I need a detail on my car. Are there any good detailing shops on Long Island you guys can refer me to? I would prefer a shop rather than someones driveway and whatnot, just because it would take longer and I woudn't want to leave the car for too long. Maybe even a one of those detailing companies that come to your house?

Andrew (Papahoff) still does detailing (i think) and i do detailing also. Andrews in Suffolk county and im in Nassau county, so whichever one is closer.

 

Thanks for the offer to help, but as I stated, I would prefer a shop or a mobile business that comes to my house.

... I received an email from a company and plan on detailing in the next couple of weeks, I am more than willing to share my experiences and help anyone else out that is in my shoes.

i haven't had work done by either, but i know both guys and can vouch they are good guys.

maybe i should hold a contest and let one of you do my ISF and the other do my RX...

 

Finesse auto detailing... Port washington,NY.. Have Scott the owner do the work, his attention to detail is great. He tapes off the whole car so nothing gets on the mouldings. He is not cheap but u get what u pay for. Great guy who stands by his work,,, 516 767 3637. He does not travel, drop it off in AM pu in PM. Three yrs ago he did my whip, it is garaged and does not come out in winter so it stays real clean..

Jerry this sounds good lol. Have Joe do the RX and who ever wins gets to keep the ISF. lol we only detail for slips.

PS: Driveway is lacking shade!!!

Andrew does great work, plus no shade is not a problem due to having a portable canopy .
