Hey guys,

I was driving my brother's corolla home yesterday from MD to NJ when i broke down in Philly due to a harmonic balancer and notched crankshaft.

Long story short, car is in Philly busted and sad at Pepboys, and I was curious if anyone had a good engine shop in the area of Richmond Ave/Alleghaney Ave/Aramingo Ave. Preferably 3 mile radius cause of AAA, but farther is ok.

I don't know if we would even get the crankshaft fixed or get a new engine because of the mileage and year of the car, but if someone has a good engine shop that won't quote me a ridiculous sum for the repair work or engine replacement, we may go for it.

not sure of any off the top of my head but check out tristatetuners.com. its a local board for the tri-state area and there are a ton of vendors on there that do all types of things. im sure someone on that board can point you to a good shop.

its cheaper to get a new complete motor then to rebuild the one you have.
