Just pitching an idea here. Would like to know how many people would be willing to take roughly 2 hours, maybe more, out of their time on the weekend, to donate blood? Think this would help out hundreds of people, and could definitely help us set an example for the youngins around here.
sounds good we need to do more good stuff like this
I got a meet for cancer goin on in orchard beach BX july 5th
we will be collecting donations for a 20 year old kid who is a member of the honda forum that im a member of who has cancer might not see 21 unless he gets the rite treatment
any one and any type of car is welcomed to attend
Good thought, although you might want to actually talk to the Red Cross and see what their opinion is of mixing an event of giving blood and operating machinery (driving a car).
You may be better off organizing a canned food meet or used clothing drive to donate to charity.
New York Blood Centers actually sent out some stuff in the mail about getting people to organize blood drives. I'm all for a meet/blood drive. If you get a little woozy after donating blood just chill out for a few minutes and you should be fine.
