Sweet looking ride. What year is it? If it still has the run flats the snow capabilities probably suck so it is good you don't drive it in the snow.
I just got mine a couple months ago and had a couple friends that REALLY wanted to go for a ride with the top down. I did the same thing as you, I took them for a ride with the top down and the heat cranked up LOL. It was only like 30 degrees out and my friends really wanted to check out the ride with the top down so I took em for a ride. We froze our butts off but it was a fun ride.

The car is an 02 - whomever the previous owner was took very good care of it! Thankfully, they were wise enough to ditch the runflats (guess I gotta bite the bullet on a spare now) I need wheels/tires/coil-overs though... the inset rear wheel is driving me crazy
!
Very nice! Always great to see a another SC430 in the group!
I drove one winter with the RFT's...and they were total crap in the snow!
Since changing to the Michelin non-RFT's, we haven't had any snow...go figure.
But, I have had to use my spare tire before so, I think it's a pretty good investment; even if you only throw it in the trunk on long trips (I came out to my car one morning with a flat so, I got to change the tire in my own garage).
I'd recommend, at a minimum, getting a 12VDC portable air compresser and throwing that in the trunk.
Then a LuxLink (that really turns heads), then the NavTool...and of course the VaisTech module...and.....
