I will def keep a I out. There are a very few peeps that will steal a SC in the DC area. Mostly for parts or sale to unsuspecting customers. Not to joy ride. Especially if they use a tow truck. I will check my sources for information.

good luck and fyi thats y i hate the hyattsville area too many thieves there and they use tow trucks to steal cars down there now. so anyone else that goes to that area becareful because i have had 3 friends car stolen using tow trucks and they use company trucks to do it so they dont look suspicious. i forgot what the company name was but its one of 2 that use red tow trucks in the hyattsville area, if i get the name ill pass it unto you so u can start checking there.

Well that car wasn't insured because of Documents i needed so that means no money out of this.... But just when it was getting all better, it gets taken...But the good news is that the officer handling my case is a motor head, and he likes my car so he said he was going to get a "special unit" on it =). He cracked a big case out here in Hyattsville.

yea i know, wasnt my fault that i couldnt get it insured tho! so much for my 1st car... Took me a lot of hard work and lots of savings to get this car...GRR!!!

this stuff ticks me off, ppl work hard to get their stuff and some a**holes take it wrongfully. Ill keep an eye out here too, the sc community is small so hopefully these jerks will try selling the parts to one of us and we can bust them. you never know these idiots may come on here asking for swap info cause there stumped. good luck. and remember its your right to own and carry a weapon, not that I want to promote violence.

sweet car but sorry for the loss. as everyone said we will keep a look out. i wish i could of seen that car in person. look hella clean. Guess i wont be driving my car to hyattsville...ever!

Thanks alot guys, good news! The car wasn't stolen it was taken by the county for "not having plates" yet they didnt see the temp plate in the back windshield. So not only did they do me a favor by storing the car, they can't charge me anything because it was never reported to the police. HA! Thanks alot guys good to know the Lexus community gladly helps!
