DRC Motorsports is giving an exclusive invite to Club Lexus members to take their Lexus on the track @ Thunderbolt Raceway. You'll get to meet the team and their drivers. Here's your chance to let your vehicle be part of the Speed World Challenge weekend. Admission to the racetrack is $35 dollars, but the parade lap and autograph session is all FREE!!!

Sounds cool. Too bad I cant make it. If I would have known in advance I could have taken off work.

 

Some additional info & clarification:

What is actually free is the complimentary VIP Paddock Parking Pass close to the track staging area and the Parade Lap. You still need to pay general Admission to the race (which is $35, according to a person I spoke to at the New Jersey Motorsports Park's 1-866-550-NJMP number).

Also, there will also be an autograph session that Saturday from 10-11 AM. The SPEED World Challenge GT Series race where Jeff Altenburg in the #72 DRC Motorsports Lexus IS will compete is from 1-2 PM, and the Parade Lap for registered Club Lexus and my.IS members will be at 5:15 PM (or at the conclusion of the BMW race that is Saturday's last event).

 

I have work from 8-4, I could get out earlier, but is it possible to make it to the parade lap, and just hang out from there? Or do I need to be there from the start of the event?

 

You could go just for the parade lap, but I have no idea whether or not the folks at the New Jersey Motorsports Park would let you in while the last race is going on without paying admission. I'd suggest calling them, explain your situation and see what they tell you.
