Not trying to hijack this thread but I had to respond to this post. This is a very strong statement. Do not put things out there like that unless you can deliver. Do you own the place or have management/hiring responsibilities? Be careful what you say, if you do not deliver it will bite you in the ***.

Im in the same boat, graduated this past december with a BS in International Business and Finance. I am looking for a job either in the Philly area or in the Orlando area (looking to move there this summer to pursue my masters at either rollins or ucf).
I've begun my jobhunt recently and having a ton of difficulty because of hiring freezes.
I'm a Communication/Psychology Major(s) with a focus in PR and other Corporate Communications. I've interned at Nickelodeon/MTV in NY and a PR agency in Newark, held officer positions in organizations at school, and active volunteering.
Does anyone know of any opportunities I could follow up on? I'm willing to travel...
I would've started another thread but seeing as Darknight has accomplished his, I figured I'd tag along at the end of this one...
Thanks in advance guys
Try putting your resume on HotJobs, Careerbuilder and Monster. You'll most likely get a bunch of recruiters contacting you. I actually landed one job that I found out about through a recruiter from RobertHalf but I forfeited that job for the other one I got. Hope that helps.
Just a little update. I've been working at this accounting firm for 3 weeks and it's been great so far. I'm really glad I got in at a public accounting firm because it exposes me to so many different things. I feel I've learned quite a bit in the 3 weeks I've been here. Just one piece of advice, network. More often than not, it's about who you know. Word of mouth is always the best advertisement.
