You know the weirdest part about the whole thing.
Not sure if you can see in these pics, but the rear bumper aluminum support is UNTOUCHED.
I'm nearly 99.9% sure that it wasn't just a tree that caused the damage.
1. If the car spun into a tree, Why was the bumper support untouched?
2. If the car spun into a tree, Why did the gas tank get smashed in?
3. Look at the rear deck... Its bent in near the middle...
I won't deny the car didn't spin into a tree, it did. But that was after something else hit it in the back sending it spinning into the tree...
What do you guys think?

I had 2 theories as to what happened.
1. The were speeding (which they claim they weren't) and lost control on that small curve, spun the car and the car then flew up on one side causing the damage. At the point of impact the 2 right side tires had to have been in the air at some point which would explain his head slamming into the driver side glass and shattering it.
2. Someone hit them from behind in either an SUV or truck causing them to spin and hit the tree.
3. (thier story) Someone cut them off, they swerved out of the way, car spun and they hit the tree.

There was only 2 trees in the section and the car was right next to the one it hit. Tree didn't look damaged at all though.
