I have a 01 gs430 and the ride is pretty loud.... i took it to the dealer and was told that all my suspension components are good, wheel bearings good, and that it is the tires that are making alll that noise. I was wondering if someone had a set of stock wheels, or any wheels at that - that you know ride nice - (i ride 17" stock, but i guess any will do) that i could test to make sure that is actually the problem before i go out and buy new tires.

let me know... hopefully someone local has some extra wheels laying around that I could try out.. im in queens.

I have stock 16s, but live in Maryland...and I have a 2001 430 too.

I have the stock 16s, with the tires still on them.

If you get desperate, and want to make the trip down, you're more than welcome to borrow them. I'll drop up the contract on your trip down. lol

But seriously, you can definitely borrow my stock 16s for a time to check things out.

 

well I got 18"s with snow tires on them. But i have no idea as to how they ride cause they are brand new.

 

too bad im not coming down this weekend (i had originally thought I was going to) or else I would def hit you up for them for a few hours. Thanks man

 

i figure the snow tires will be louder than a regualar tire anyway so it may not help me, but thanks for the offer. Im looking for someone with a near stock set up. stock 16 inch tire size or stock 17 inch tire size with an all season or summer tire.

 

i gave my boy my stock 17s but I dont think that he's free anytime soon. He's been working 2 jobs almost back to back. Talk to gsoup he should still have his stocks somewhere.

 

yeh man, i should be able to get help from someone here - an extra set of wheels/tires shouldnt be too hard to find
