Good to see that it was a great trip for the one's that made it

Either way it's good to see that all of you had fun maybe next time.

Just so you know I only blew out 1 tire not 2. Thanks to Sash & Vlad for hanging with me for the tow truck to show up. Eventhough I could have choked the driver when he almost ripped my front bumper off with the intercooler

road(I-78 West), painfully waited for tow truck to move car little
over 1/4 mile to nearest off ramp, would up having to drive back to
NY on 2 spare tires.

Spyder78- Not aware of any writeups(Spyder chime in), pulls to side of road
to help Soup (NELOC fashion), didnt realize he had locked the door on
his car, closed the door while helping soup change tires. Goes to get
back in and keys are still inside,, doors locked. Another
painfully long wait to tow truck driver to come and unlock the car, pic
above is one of the friendly Pa state troopers scratching the trim
around the door trying to slim jim the door open.

Sash- Very aware of the Neloc Creedo, that bad luck travels in 3's. Decides
to scrap the trip, especially after the long wait for help to arrive for
the others. Group was still more than 250 miles away and it was well
after 2pm.

NYCKID- confirmed going on trip, however as I understand, was a no-show.
Couple of corrections to the story:

G-soup blew out the sidewall and bent the rim up very nicely on the inside barrel 5 bends all together. We were pulled over on a blind curve with no should on the I-78w where it narrows to 2 lanes. Had to wait for a flatbed and then the flatbed almost took off Carlos' intercooler cause his car is too low. Carlos' car came with stock 16" while mine came with the 17" 5 spoke. So I gave carlos my spare in order to help him balance out the wheels a lil better so that he could get home. So drivers rear tire was my chrome 17" 5 spoke while the rest were the fabulous wheels. Carlos decides to go home while Sash and I think about it, we didn't want to quit while we were still able to drive so we decide to keep going.

Sash goes to put his navi on and I go start putting everything in the trunk, I had the key in my hand only popped the trunk open and placed the key on top of the mat when I finished putting everything in. I looked around to make sure that I didn't leave anything and my trunk slams shut. Doors were locked, keys are in the trunk. Call AAA again for a locksmith, takes him an hour to get to us. Meanwhile sash and I are trying to get into the car and the state trooper sees us and decides to help. Needless to say the help was grateful but absolutely unnecessary since the car cannot be unlocked by pressing the unlock button. The gs only unlocks if you pull the latch and you have to pull the door open at the same time otherwise it relocks itself in about .5 seconds. Took the locksmith about 50 tries to get in. But next problem is that the keys are in the trunk. The trunk release does not work unless the alarm is disabled since the trunk release is electric there are no physical connections to pull.

So I start taking off the back seat. Keep in mind that I have a system 2 12"s and 2 amps sitting behind the backseat that are bolted from the back of the car not the front. So I take off the backseat, than I have to take off the X brace in the back, than I had to use all of my power, I'm 6'4" and 235 to break the 1/4 inch steel l brackets holding the subs. After that sash helped me rotate the box so that I could squeeze my arm thru to try to get the key which ironically was underneath the sub box which weighs close to 200lbs. This whole ordeal took about 5 hours, needless to say I was done, drained, tired, in no condition to continue any further and had enough trouble getting back home cause I was running on fumes. My arms look like they were mauled by bears, my weather stripping on the door and the frame of the car need to be replaced as there are chunks missing.

Here are some of the pics of the ordeal.

Thanks to everyone for coming or trying to come to the suprise. I think Craig was completely suprised!!!!!! The caravan was so much fun, I can't wait to get the ES modded, maybe I'll be able to keep up.

Smitty: the ES is going to be a project, but thanks for offering your knowledge.

Kevin: The crab cakes were wonderful, thanks so much. The new shoes are beautiful. I didn't feel any change in the ride of your car.

Joe: The next time you guys come, I'll have to make sure we are stocked with groceries.

Tony: Well you can breathe easy now, well not so much you never know what your "punishment" will be. Believe me Craig will come up with something.

NY Crew: I'm sorry you guys didn't make it. Do you think maybe you guys have bad travel karma or something? Hope to see you all in Nov. at Hawk's Nest. The ES will not be making the trip, just so that I can hang out the window and take pictures of you.

Hope to do this all again soon.

What's up with the Christmas party? Anyone down?

Vlad,, thanks for chiming in and clearing up the details,,,, was working from second hand information since I was more than 250 miles away from you guys. Sorry you had to disassemble the GS to get the keys,, but hopefuly all is well now.

NYCkid,,no blame going on here at all. I did not know what happened to you. when I called soup in the morning and tool roll call, I was understood that you had not shown up. Dont know if soup had checked his pm's the night b4. Anway,, until next time, is al good. NO ONE was under ANY obligation to make the trip.

thanks tony and kev but yea this is the first neloc cruise that had to have been cursed or something. It was ridiculous how many bad things happened in the course of a single morning. I'll see you all at hawk's nest though.
