Late last night, Gabby's condition took a turn for the worse and she went on to be with the Lord. We appreciate and are so thankful for all of you who have stood strong in faith and in prayer with us.
While we prayed for God to bring Gabby back to us - wanting to keep her in our lives on this earth - our faith-filled spirits desired and prayed for God's will to be done.
Please understand that we take comfort in knowing that God heard all of our prayers for Gabby's complete restoration. We believe that God called her to be home with Him and that, there in her Heavenly home, she is complete and whole.
We believe that our precious Gabby is in a much better place, now and forever, in the arms of our heavenly father.
Through God's grace, mercy and renewed strength, we are continuing to stand strong. We are still in prayer and believing God for Miles' full recovery, and we are thankful to report that he is progressing very well.
Again, we thank you all for blessing us with all of the prayers, support and encouragement we've received from all over the country and the world.
Standing on our faith and in the peace of God, we remain,
The Hendrick Family
Psalms 55:22
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
Philippians 4:6, 7
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
It's a big thread, thought I'd post the link to the details you're looking for here Edit - looks like you found it while I was posting.

I was also moved and it hit home when I read it. I actually called my wife and kids afterwards. I just needed to know that they were ok. I cannot even fathom the pain it must be to lose one of your kids.
I suggest we send flowers again as we did for Tuddy. I know he was very moved by our support, when I spoke with him about it.

Sheesh, yeah, whatever you guys want to do, I'm down.
Nothing like a serious car accident to put things in perspective. That's why I have that exact sentiment on my license plate...so I can keep things, ALL things, in proper PRSPCTV. Even on my worse day, the anguish of having to bury a child makes all my ish seem so trivial.
