Looking at the pics, I'm glad Carlos came out of it just fine. Those crumple zones realy absorbed alot of the energy like it was designed to. But still, you really are lucky you had an angel watching over you. Not to mention a great wife to boot. Good luck on your search for a replacement.

Damn that sux , glad ur ok. It's totalled for sure. Also in NYC I don't think the insurance companies allow u to buy back the car once the "claim" (you) is paid. Best bet would be to try and take off what extras u can before the adjuster looks at the car, and replace them with stock pieces. They rarely give u extra $ for your extras. BTW if u have progressive insurance company, let me know I have a contact in a high position, in nyc, that may be able to help work something out. When I had my wreck, he got me top dollar, and then let me take off my extras and keep them. Wish u da best

Yeah take some stuff of and sell it before adjuster comes. Shift ****, tail light, srt/ ecu, etc....
