Does this hurt the oem's original capabilities? Or is the navigation and all other functions still fully functional?

 

Nope, you retain all the original capabilities and it even makes improvements upon them. For example, if you have the Mark Levinson DVD player, you can also play movies while the car is in motion.

 

I also have the ML+. It's a must if your looking for iPod integration. Liking the pandora feature as well. Watch the video on it. It pretty much sells itself.
