Factory GX460 hitch for sale. Freshly repainted due to some scrapes.

Located in the Minneapolis MN area. Local pickup preferred as it is fairly large and heavy and packaging would be difficult.

well, i am by no means local, but I am in the market for a hitch that is factory rated to 6500 lbs. it would seem they have become scarce as the proverbial “hens teeth” over the past year or so . Could it be shipped for $100 - 150 , do you think, to 39565 zip ? You could shrink wrap it and box it, or probably just shrink wrap the heck out of it and ship it….. it is after all, metal ?
Anyway, If you dont sell it locally soon, and you want to take the extra effort to package and ship it, let me know.
Otherwise the best i can do is the 5000 lb rated Curt bolt on receiver which is not meeting my needs. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply... yeah I am not really excited about trying to package and ship this heavy thing, though maybe it will have to happen if I don't find a local buyer.

i understand , but here is the thing. I need the hitch, and i have no other option of buying one. You can’t find one. Anywhere. I know it is just ……a piece of steel with some bolts ( you do have the mounting bolts with it I hope ? )
all you got to do is get a roll of box tape, some cardboard and just wrap it however and tape it up . It doesn’t have to be pretty , and what can really happen to it, it is just a chunk of steel tubing really ? Nothing can happen that I can’t cover with a rattle can of paint. I’m going to have to pay the shipping charge, and I am more than willing even though it will likely be as much or more than the cost of the hitch itself…….
I’m not trying to be rude, I just really need this part and dont have a lot of options. I didnt realize my Lexus had the Curt hitch that just fits in with 4 bolts at the point of the receiver tube ( and also is only rated for 5000 lbs and 500 lbs tongue weight) .
We just bought a travel trailer and i found all this out like a few days ago…… anyway, if you are game, I’d love to buy the hitch.
-- think it over. . Seven two zero 4 six nine zero 4 zero 7 . Thanks.

I’ll think about it. If I had some bigger boxes to cut up it would be more feasible.

i was talking through this with my better half this morning, she had a suggestion….FWIW….. she said why not just take it to pack n mail or the UPS store or whatever you have/use locally, and ask them to wrap it or package it and send it….. they will charge for this of course but we’ve done that on occasion for other things ourselves.
Again, I am not trying to be a bother, but we really need the hitch. I will pay for all of the charges to mail/ship it including if they box it. That way you just walk in with it, give them shipping info/address, and you can call me from the store and i will Venmo or PayPal or whatever the money. If that would work for you ? I included my cell phone # on that previous comment in case you’d like to discuss this in person. Hope that idea might make it easier - Thanks !

hey and by the way, what year model of the GX460 did this hitch come off ? I am reading that the 2010 to 2022 Model year are all the same so assuming it was a post 2010 model then the bolt holes and dimensions should be correct for my 2015 model. Thanks.
