I got the rear fenders flared to accomodate 315/40R18 tires , wide tires that will hold the power I originally thought of building this car which was +1200rwhp. But this is better left as is right now as a daily driver but boosted with its 5 speed W58 with an aftermarket clutchmaster clutch to keep it close to stock for the purists who prefer a stock 97 original 5 speed . It is a great setup with the Aristo VVTI ECU and Borg Warner S360 turbo.
These manual transmission SC300 cars if you check Bring A Trailer and other websites have been selling really good . They are getting harder to find. Even those that are not from 1997 , you will find them selling above $20k on BAT. Selling this car for $22.5k , not a penny less. I have sold 3 of these in the past and every buyer was happy. Pretty sure they will get back their money plus more after enjoying their cars. If I don't get what I want for this , it is not gonna hurt staying in my fleet. It is just gonna go up in price as time goes by and while I enjoy it.
Again , just so there are no misunderstandings , this car is not perfect. It is a 25 year old car. Thus I will sell this car to someone who can inspect it in person just like I sold every 97 SC300 so there are no misunderstandings.
Interior is in a very decent shape . Seldom you will see a Lexus SC with a really nice interior like what this car has. I have converted it to black and beige. This car now has the stock fuel tank with 3 Supra MKiV Denso pumps. I have taken out the fuel cell that I previously installed. As mentioned, I originally planned on giving this the best SC setup making around +1200rwhp. It is an original 1997 5speed for which only 120 of them were manufactured and it was the last year of the SC300 5 speed.
