Yes BaT would be great forum to sell but I don’t think the market on BaT is upwards of $40K. Only two examples and the ‘08 with 26K only bid up to low $20’s. If it listed with a reserve I don’t think they would accept something as high as mid $30’s. Beautiful car I’d love to buy but current asking price is outside my parameters. Be sure to bump listing if price changes.

It is interesting that the market on old IS Fs got so high that 2015-2016 RC F with modest 20k-30k miles starts to fall into the same price range, while having a better cabin, the same 0-60 time and slightly better fuel economy.

Really good deal since there's IS-Fs on carmax right now with 45-50k miles and are either the same price or a few thousand more. Nice car! I honestly like these better than the RC-Fs.

I think there's a rising market for older performance cars or older cars in general. Actually older everything. I'm into cameras and older cameras are going up in value too. People just desire old stuff nowadays as new everything tends to get more clinical and added frills enthusiasts don't want. Older stuff is focused.
On the cars themselves, the RC is great, but it's a bit of a porker. Also like most two door cars in its class, the back seats are practically useless for anything but groceries or small children.

Good. The more people (who are intersted in ISF) jack up ISF prices, the lower the prices for the RCFs will be (more supply of 5.0L lexuses). That way I can pay less for a used RC F when I get tired of my IS350!
While with older range of $28k-36k for ISFs they were not competing with RCFs, the new ever increasing price range puts them against used RCFs..
