Only 100 of the amazing Structural Blue Inspiration Series Convertibles produced. I took delivery at Lexus and per my instructions, the car was never stripped of its interior tags, plastic rap, window and windshield stickers, etc. This is truly a brand new time capsule LC 500 and the only Structural Blue Inspiration Series LC for sale in country. Was $50k over sticker at Lexus Dealer, which was pretty common.
Thanks for your comments. FYI, when new dealers charged and got $50,000 over MSRP, that is, over $170k. That was when there were 100 available. Now there is one and only one new Inspiration Series Convertible.
It remains the only car in the world to be painted in a structural color by a manufacturer. Yes,the only production car....ever. Video explains:
If you’re serious, you should try bringatrailer.com with a high reserve that you want.
Given past auctions, 179k is probably not going to happen. The dealer can mark up however much they want but the question is, is there a buyer. I’ve seen these IS series marked up during Covid era and still nobody buys them.
And honestly, with the Bespoke build of Ultra Sonic Blue 2.0 and white/blue interior and more unique wheels, I don’t see this IS series that unique anymore. Of course, that is just my opinion.
You have to be a real car collector to consider this at the price you’re asking. Once driven the value will plummet. And god forbid you put a scratch on that Structural Blue paint and need to repaint…

First, when those cars on BAT were for sale there was always pretty much 2-3 for sale on the internet. Have you looked lately? I have and I have been finding zero Inspiration Series Convertibles for sale. Second, just because one owner will agree to sell his car for a low reserve does not mean others will. I remember when Dinos were $25k. When F50 were $400k. When 550 Maranello were $60k. (So I bought two and sold them for ~$200k each not too long thereafter.) Sadly, I've sold cars that I'd paid ~$40k for and now they're worth $400k-$500k. BTW, turns out repairing a "scratch" or repainting a fender is no different than any other high end car. Here's a video showing how simple it is:
I don’t know what the hammer price will be, but there’s only one way to find out and it’s going to be on Bring-a-Trailer. The only way you’re going to get anywhere near that money is if two guys get into a bidding war over it, and that’s not going to happen in the Club Lexus classifieds. For $99, if they accept your car for auction which I imagine they will as it is indeed unique, you can see if they’ll set a high reserve and then see if it gets hit. The buyer eats the overwhelming majority of the fees, so you don’t have much to lose. (I can say that as a buyer who just paid them.)

Hello. I've sold several cars on BAT and I've also sold one of these Inspiration Series Convertibles before and that was not on BAT and it sold for $169k. BAT is not the only way to sell a car today and when someone knows what they want and find it, be it on BAT or elsewhere, they will buy it. True that the ideal situation is having two people in the same room at the same time who both want the car no matter what.
Turns out there is one for sale on the planet! In Europe, with several thousand miles on the odometer, price is 168,000 Euros which is more than $197,000 USD.
You seem awfully sure of the value of this thing, so why don’t you sell it instead of shitposting on ClubLexus? I think you’re off by tens of thousands of dollars on a U.S. car UNLESS you find someone who absolutely wants that car and not a ‘25 Bespoke that will come awfully close to that look, with better technology, and a full factory warranty. For the life of me I don’t understand why you think that posting justifications of your price here, to people with no interest in buying it, instead of throwing Bring A Trailer a hundred bucks to get it in front of interested eyes is the right play. I know a guy who buys lots of different (in a good way) cars like this, and there’s zero chance he’d buy something like this off of ClubLexus and would prefer to pay the $5K+ buyer’s fee once the car is placed in front of a real audience. You do you, though.
Actually, I think people that respond to a listing so entitled are people who may be interested in buying it. If " people with no interest in buying it" nevertheless click on the listing that's their perogative. I'm in no rush to sell. Will only go up in value as time goes on. As for the 2024 model and newer, I like many others think the revised dash is ugly and ruins an otherwise pure design. Anyone who thinks, years from now, collectors will care about an infotainment system, is mistaken. It's all about design.
I just bought something very different, and have to pick it up from the PPF/Ceramic guy this afternoon, and also have no desire for any of the touchpad models. Others will differ, as I have my own reasons, but it’s a deal breaker for me. I almost bought the last inspiration series, but I can’t/won’t do matte paint. Anyway, you can take me off of your presumed list of “people who may be interested in buying it.” I can’t speak for @NickL , but he sure doesn’t seem to be looking to take this off of your hands. That’s 0/2 on this thread, which makes your supposition that much more odd. Best of luck.

Again, this is simply a posting for sale. As they say, there's an A$$ for every seat so if folks buy other cars more power to them. My Ferrari 512M does not have any infotainment so no trackpad, no LCD and I don't care. I find the new style dash ugly. What it really is is a middle finger from Lexus designers, two of whom I've actually spoken to in depth about this car. (The LC was designed herein So Cal.) People like Doug wanked about the touchpad. Anyone here much about the 9ll S/T's infotainment system? Nope. No one cares one way or the other. The designers were like, " you want a stupid touchpad, that will require a larger screen, one not beautifully integrated in to the dash, well then, here ya go! You can have your stinkin LC screen, lose your beautiful dash, lose the touch of the analog clock, loss the pretty paneling that ran the course of the dash and have yourself a bland unfinished looking dash. Time for the Emperor's new clothes. BUT if you want the LC 500 at its very finest in terms of art, you buy the 2018 Inspiration Coupe or the 2021 Inspiration convertible. And if you don't want that, you can buy whatever you want and this car is not for you.
Just back from Monterey car week. Visited the Lexus stand with what may be the last Inspiration Series Convertible Lexus will offer in the LC before likely retiring the car entirely in 2026. Was sadly disappointed by the colors. The exterior is dull and surprisingly Lexus did not use its existing tan leather for its white/tan interior. Instead its more of a white and brown interior which I did not care for. Also, they are making a large number of them, 350.
Funny, the Lexus representative said her favorite LC was the Blue Inspiration Series car and while we were chatting another Gentleman approached and stated he was going to buy this 2026 LC Inspiration Series but the car he really wanted was the blue one......I did not mention I was selling mine. Again, in no rush to sell what will become a highly sought after Lexus IMO.
Why exactly is this car $179K. Ive been on CL forever and bought several dealer new lexuses over the past 25yrs. When all
other Lc are are around $100k
