Default Light Vibrations/Knock Sensor issue

Hello everyone!
I have a 2001 LS430 with 155k miles and I feel light vibrations but only in Park. Did a bunch of research and still not sure what's causing it. Bought the car about a month ago and had the full timing belt kit w/ water pump changed. Treated the engine with Techron a couple times.

Also have the check engine light that comes up once in a while with P0325 code (knock sensor 1). When this happens the car loses about half its power and I have to do the battery reset to get it running normal again. Took it to my mechanic and he said putting in a new sensor isn't going to help the power issue.

Anyone know if these 2 issues are in any way related and have any insight on them? I love the car and want to fix these issues so I can comfortably drive it for as long a time as possible. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I think your mechanic is wrong. An overactive knock sensor will cause the computer to retard timing and power because it thinks there is something bad wrong (fuel quality, etc).

I would replace the sensor.
