Default PLEASE HELP!! Engine Noise and Loss of Power

Vehicle: 2008 IS250 AWD

My IS has had some engine noise for a few weeks now but I didnt think much of it at first since it was mainly at cold starts.
But it has been getting worse and worse making different noises till today there is was a MAJOR loss of power!!

Here is a video to what it sounds like:

I keep reading about the issue being related to carbon buildup is that true?? because i don't want to pay the Lexus dealership an expensive diagnosis fee but I do need to fix this ASAP.

Sounds like a bad water pump.

water pump would solve the loss in power issue as well?

Because when i press on the gas pedal it boggs down a bit and slowly gets up to speed. No throttle reaction.

It's possible you have the carbon build up as well. They would need to see if there are any stored misfire codes.
As far as the noise yes it's the pump. Your out of warranty for the pump unless you have extended coverage.
