1990 lexus es250

When do you need to do the timing belt and how do you know if it's bad? Is there anyway to tell if ones already been done. I have a 1990 lexus es250 with only 90k miles

Pretty sure on this car its due every 60k. Only way to know if it needs changing is the take the top cover off and take a look
