Alternator Replacement
If someone is looking to change their alternator on a 1992 LS, you can get one from Autozone at about half the cost of a dealer's price.
It took me about three hours with no previous experience. All I have to do was removed the serpentine belt, the two bolts, and the wires. I did not even have to remove any transmission oil lines, but I did have to remove the lines supporting bracket so that I can move them around to remove and replace the alternator.

Ihope it'll last you a year
Autozone offers a lifetime warranty on brake calipers. What is the warranty they gave you on the alternator? If its lifetime, you're set, if it is not, then prey it goes on day 360. You would think they would warranty it for at least a year.
