Default Oil Additives

I was wondering what people on this list feel about oil additives, such as Restore, the infamous Slick 50, and some of the smaller labels. certain ones people recommend? Can they be used with synthetics?

Stay as far away from them as possible. Those additives stink aned can actually cause damage. There is a website about how bad they are for your cr. Just use regular oil or synthetic oil.

I can think of better things to blow $50 on.
Regular monitoring and changing of oil AND filter eliminates the need for these snake oils.

Oil additives you do not need. Better just to use synthetic. If you want to use something good for you engine, fill up with Chevron 93 or use Techron.
