Default Oil Consumption

Just wondering in the 2007 Lexus ES350
what would be a normal oil consumption i read somewhere 800 miles but that can't be right its not like we are talking about some big V8 like the northsar i used to have in my old cadillac that got 800 miles to a Qt

should i be able to get 5000 mile oil changes and never have to add a qt of oil and be safe ?
or should i get 2000 miles between qts ?

thank you

depending on your mileage of your es its suppose to be around 1 quart every 2k AT WORST CONDITION. if you have a low mileage car there might be an issue else where.

I had two ES350's. A 2007 and a 2010 and never added any oil between service intervals.

Engine oil is vital, it something that should be checked at least every other week. Oil consumption can come in the form of internal leaks that will burn and exit the exhaust or external leaks you will see in your driveway or parking spot. In other words, consumption is not identical from car to car.

I do check all the time for leaks when moving just call me a but peranoid at times
But I also check oil level every otyer tanks of fuel l I'm always ontop if makeing sure oil is and other fluids are at good levels
I just wanted to know if there are no visable leaks
And it seems oil is being consumed or lost more wanted to know what would be ok
