Does anyone know how to change engine oil for 2005 LX470?

 

drain it, change the filter, replace with recommended quantity...

its easier if you have drive on ramps, but on that truck, not necessary...

 

Both the drain bolt and filter are hidden behind protective covers. The filter is a spin on canister type. Shouldn't be difficult at all, especially with the car being naturally high off the ground..

 

och... on changing your oil take to the dealer..if your asking how to change oil on your car
you have a harder time plugin in your phone to charge than changing your oil sorry.... even my girl with hair nails and hair up did it ..seeing her under a cripper looking so cute doing it i should having taking a shoot man now to think of it i should make her do my tune up now to thing she small enough to go in the engine bay (4'11)och!!!

 

Wow. rude. Please don't scare away the noobs. Everyone has to start somewhere, might as well start with an oil change.

 

first a fall draining the old oil and then removing the old oil filter after that install the new oil filter and now you can reffil the oil again and put a oil cap otherwise oil spray can cause a fire.

my first time changing oil i didnt even have a jack stand. My fatther saw that and told me to go buy jack stands or i would be kill!!!!!


Anyways, just go under the car and took the plastic cover out and look for a filter and the oil pan. The filter should be the one that look like the new one you have. The oil pan usually has rectangular shape and has one bolt. u need to remove that bold and oil filter and let the oil drain. Then pour some fresh oil in and let it drain again. Not all of the oil but just a little. I like to get the all of the old oil out. Then plug the drain plug and install oil filter. Fill the oil to the recommended level... you are done
