ES 300 collant question (I do not get it)
ok, I have a 1998 ES300 and I was wondering about the collant. The manual just says use only ETHYLENE GLYCOL (EG) which is green I believe but my car has red collant (ELC) in it.
I know you can not switch back and forth due to see and pump issues so does toyota/ lexus make some sort of red collant but is EG?
Need some help

Good one!
I asked lexus and they are clueless on this issue.
I know EG collant is green and Extended Life Collants are normally red, orange, and purple). You CAN NOT mix them. ELC is dex-cool kindof.
Lexus said it is EG collant just dyed red. okay.
