Question 2002 Camry Brake lights not working, except the middle

Hi guys,

My parents 2002 Camry brake lights are not working, except for the middle brake light on the rear dash. I changed the brake lights and checked all fuse work. I checked for all rear light wires that might be loose.

Still the brake lights are not working, except for the rear dash brake light.

Any advice or I'm doing something wrong here?

Thanks in advance,

Wiring is known to break where it follows the trunk arm to the hinge... Aside from that, ive seen the lamp failure box fail too.

Do the regular tail lights work when the headlights are turned on?

I checked regular tail lights work, turn signals work/emergency work.

I didn't notice any wire that was around the trunk arm to hinge, but I'll check. Thanks.
