Default My ac light is blinking GS300 2004

My GS300 04 100k miles,ac goes out intermittenly, the ac light blinks when this happens. Mostly in the early morning or on hotter days. I can turn on and off to get it to work for about 5-7m. Is it a relay or timing belt issue?

Look for magnetic clutch relay or a bad A/C compressor/clutch.

I had a 95 Camry that did the same thing when I drove into a puddle, The clutch would slip and the a/c would go out and the light would blink. Id say have someone check your levels in your a/c system. If your low, the clutch will kick off on its own. IMO, if your clutch was bad it would be bad ALL the time. Sounds to me like you might be just low on juice man. Take it to a local garage and ask them to hook it up to their sysem, If it needs a shot of charge, try that. If it is low, you may have a small leak.

It could also be a loose clutch. I had my clutch fly off my a/c compressor on my Miata, Lucky for me I used to remove that belt for racing to reduce spinning weight and it happened once I removed the belt.

Good luck to you man, please repost the solution so we may all add it to our fix it banks.
