Default power mirror problem

I have a 95' sc4 and everythin works perfectly except for the power mirrors. When I move the joystick thing nothin happens. I have checked all my fuses and the switch on the door it self and I’m stumped. I heard somewhere that there is a "Power mirror control box or something, and that might be the problem. But I really don’t know what it could be, and if someone could help me I would appreciate it. Thanks

hey lexiss_sc400, wow you haven't got any response. Did you get any response from other forum section(sc300/400)?
anyways, seems like you need to replace power side mirror ECU(control unit), yes, it's same as control box you're talking about.

it's located under the driver side dash, you need to take out driver side bottom dash cover to reach the control unit. and look for ECU like on the picture. I think it's above the gas pedal. Replacement is simple, but you might have hard time to take out 3rd screw. the part number is I think, 89430-24020, make sure with part department before you order. I dont remember how much it costs (range $100-200).

one more thing, before you do anything, remove the (-) from battery. good luck.

My SC300 has the same issue. I have come to the same conclusion. Leave it alone. Although this info is good. Thanks Taka.
