O2 Sensor replacement Instruction

Default O2 Sensor replacement Instruction

MATERIAL NEEDED:
22mm wrench - $4.99
Wire cutter - $???
Can of blaster (LIKE WD40) - $3.99
(8) Butt splicer (BLUE) - $5.00
Black electrical tape - $1.00
Bosch P/N 13275 o2 sensor - $39.99 ea. (OEM cost from $120 to $200 ea.)

1) Jack front of car up and use stands to support.
2) Locate o2 sensors and spray Blaster to each of them. This will make it easier
to remove.
3) Disconnect electrical connector from o2 sensors.
4) slide closed end 22mm wrench through connector of o2 sensor. If you use
open end of wrench you could strip sensor and then your SOL. Get wrench
on o2 sensor to remove. Repeat for other side.
5) Use wire cutter to cut of connectors from old o2 sensor to use on new
ones. Also cut the connector on the new and throw away.

WIRING EXPLANATION:
OLD SENSOR NEW SENSOR
(1) Blue (1) Black
(2) Black (2) White
(1) White (1) Gray

6) Using the explanation above connect old connector to new o2 sensor. Use
butt splicer to connect. Once all 4 wire are connected use the black
electrical tape to cover the but splicers.
7) To install follow directions backwards.
