What is the best place/way to get a master key
replacement for a '00 RX300?
The one with alarm controls and smart chip in it.

My best guess would be 'your dearler', and they are not cheap; if I remember correctly from previous discussions, they are at least $150, but I could be wrong...

 

I seem to remember someone mentioned something about
same master key from another vehicle.

If I can get a hold of a master key from another RX300
(same year same model), it does have the remote entry
button and transponder.
Can I get it to be reprogrammed to my car?
Can I have someone(locksmith maybe?) to replace
just the new blank of the key, then cut to fit?
