Default Engine Oil / Filter ?!

Car is LS400 V8 Model 2000,
How often should I change Engine oil/Filter? Amount in Litters?
What type of Oil/Filter is recommended?
What are the Dealer’s recommendations?

Please share!

I uses synthentics oil "Mobile 1" 5-30w for every 5k miles..it's about 5 1/2q and chec your oil dipstick until it reach the max mark..use the oil filter from the dealer..only about $5 bucks..but Mobile 1 oil filter also work too!

You have to take into account the climate you live in. UAE gets very hot and humid in the summer, so i suggest mobile 1 synthetic 5-30 fluid every 7K or so. At least thats what i did with my 98 LS.

Moving to the maintenance forum ...
