Question Removing Mirror

After an unfortunate parking accident, i cracked the sideview mirror on our lx470, does anyone know how to remove just the mirror, not the whole unit? And would replacing it with this work http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MIRRO...45#ht_2157wt_0

The Notes under Vehicle Application on that item say "Fit Over" which sounds like it is designed to double stick or glue to your existing OEM damaged mirror. Email the seller to verify.

On the SC, you take the mirror assembly off the car then unbolt the 2 halves, and then you can take the mirror assembly out.

On the GX470, the glass mirror can be removed from the mirror housing by gently prying from behind the mirror glass at the bottom. It will snap away, then lift up and the glass part will come off. Toyota/Lexus dealers sell the replacement glass mirror for about $75.00. A lot cheaper than the whole mirror assembly.
