GS430 Servicing
Im new to the website and just recently purchased a 2003 GS430 with approx 38k on it and have some questions....
1) When should I do a drain and fill to the coolant and ATF?
2) Thus far I have changed the oil, air filter and cabin filter is there any other recommendations?
3) I also noticed there is slight pull so I rotated the tires and it seem to pull more; my question is will a wheel alignment and wheel/tire balancing help the situation.

You shouldnt have to do anything to the coolant and trans for awhile. Did your GS come with a booklet containing info on when to do certain services at the right mileage?
As far as your pull, an alignment/balancing should sort that out.

Yes the car came with everything including the original window tag. From my reading up on these 30k servicings and others services they drain and fill the ATF also the coolant. With the services what is needed to do and what dont I have to do?
If its never been done, i would suggest a trans fluid and rear diff fluid drain and refill. Those are preventative maintenance items, and should help keep your car running good. As for the coolant, i would wait until the 60k service and do it then. The owners manual gives bare minimum recommendations, there are always going to be things that people recommend above and beyond the factory services.
And an alignment is probably what you'll need to get rid of the pulling. If the pulling changed by moving the tires around, then it could also been the tires causing the pull. I would check on the condition of the tires, and if you're due for new ones in the near future, then just wait and replace them and do an alignment at the same time. Saves time and money.
