Bilstein Engine flush, worth it?
Hi Guys,
Is it worth to get the $100 Bilstein engine flush? Does it really remove varnish out of the motor and sludge? My actual advisor told me that it is snake oil and should not do it, but as always would like the opinion of my peers here.
Thanks

For an extra $40 they'll change the air in your tires, too. But make sure that you get the lug wrench resistor checked at the same time you have the turn signals lubricated.
Wad of crud, IOW.

That has been sort of the concensus on that engine flush system and I was kind of weary, but I wish it really did to what it says because I would love to do it. I might do it for the heck of it to remove some carbon and some of the varnish off the valve train and lifters.
Thanks

What i have done in the past that seems to work well is to change the oil and filter every 1500 or 2000 miles i did this with a few cars and the oil would stay cleaner longer and longer it got to the point at 2000 miles the oil was still clean try it it cant hurt but the other stuff i would not recommend at least my way you clean the motor slowly. Good luck.
