Fuel Injector Cleaner.

Toyota makes one of their own, which I just bought for $13.95. The parts guy told me that lots of people with BMW's and Mercedes' come there to buy it since it works so well. We'll see. I just added it to my 2000 LX 470 a week ago.
They said to add it to a half full fuel tank and drive it till almost empty, but not to go for more than a week without adding more gas because it is hard on rubber fuel lines.

I have used Redline SI-1 every 5,000 miles and have looked at injectors after 100,000 miles of use and am very impressed with how clean they are and little or no pressure loss. I have never used Chevron with Techron but they seem to have a very good word of mouth with my mechanic friends.
I'm sure others work great as well, but i haven't tried a lot of them.

This stuff works wonders. I use it now on my old Volvo's and its amazing the gunk it'll clean out of them particularly the turbo cars. Until trying this stuff i was always using the Lubro Molly stuff at every second oil change, still use it, along with the other molly products, but the "water torture" method where you suck distilled water, then the Seafoam into your intake and then toss a can into the tank and it makes a noticeable difference. Then again this is on old rwd Volvo's not a much newer Lexus... I'd be worried i wasn't getting the water and Seafoam distributed evenly to all cylinders in the Lexus...

I'll have to ask my neighbors what they use. They have this stuff that is order only and you have to be recommended to the company by someone who the company knows in order to be able to buy it. I was there when they put it in their college son's 1991 Buick with like 200k miles. The engine sounded like it was going to die after they added the stuff but after about a tank of gas the engine literally sounded brand new. I am pretty sure the stuff is like $30 a bottle though but it seems to work well.
BTW, i use Seafoam to winterize my Waverunner and Boat, that stuff is great

My wife's Infiniti J30t had over 180,000 when we got rid of it and the engine ran like new. I still have my '95 Infiniti Q45a with almost 151,000 and it runs perfectly. I've never put any additive in the tank. Both cars got a mixture of brand name and generic gas. Also, I never had to change the fuel filter on either car. Never had a need for any fuel injection cleaner.
I guess it just must be clean living!
