Default Smoking

I have 2 Es300's and have had no problems. However 2 of my friends have had severe oil smoking from their exhaust. Neither car had over 40,000 miles on it. A mechanic friend told me the 3.0 in the es300 has a problem with pressure buildup that causes premature smoking or oil leaks. Is this correct? What can I do to prevent it in mine or to repair it once it occurs?

Lightbulb Smoking ES300

Change your oil regularly. Sludge buildup will prevent the oil baffels in the RH (or rear) valve cover from separating the oil flung off of the cams from crankcase fumes. The PCV valve sucks oil up into the intake manifold and your engine burns it...

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE!!!
