My used warrantied 63k mileage 2JZ-GE engine is giving me hell as I try to unbolt the camshaft wheels and I'm guessing the cranshaft pulley is going to be worse since they've never been removed before.
Does anyone any good methods of removing the camshafts with the timing belt off? Holding the camshaft in place, I banged the wrench holding the cam wheel bolt (with rubber mallet) and the wrench holding the camshaft would just fall off. I can't for the life of me lock the camshaft or unbolt the camshaft wheels. Any advice? (engine is out of car on a stand)
