Default Air Conditioning Problem - 1996 SC300

Hey everyone. A couple months back I got in my 1996 SC300 in 100+º California weather, and hooray for me, the A/C was shot. The A/C controls do not work, nor does the display show anything. The outside temperature display does not register anything either...everything is simply blank.

I checked both boxes for blown fuses, but everything appears to be alright. Any advice or experience with this problem would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If all of your fuses are o.k. I might expect that your ac control unit may goes bad. You can get just the control panel ffom Lexus or you can send it to Mikado in CA.( I'm not sure about the spelling of the company name)

Yea, id check your fuses first... ive seen the fuse blow for that circuit and kill the display... Check those out.. then look into getting the display fixed or replaced, as Nuum said

What was the issue here? I'm having the exact same problem with my car. Was it the a/c control unit?
