Removing "streaks" from alloy wheels?

I have a set of Volk Racing AV3's on my car (thanks to a fellow clubmember for the recommendation), and lately I've noticed the appearance of some light "streaks" on the outer-rim of each wheel. And they don't rub off.
Why did this happen? Pretty much the only thing I've done is run it through a touch-free car wash down the street. Is there a wax or oil or something I can use in the hopes of removing those streaks?
Thanks to anyone who can help me out here...

Take some wheel cleaner>>>
that recommends painted alloy rims and spray it on like the directions say. Then instead of spraying it off apply some more on troubled areas and rub LIGHTLY until the streaks come off. I have a GS4 with factory rims and got some oil streaks. that wouldn't come off. Good luck
