95 LS 400 PS Pressure Hose
Can anyone give me an idea of what a fair cost to replace the power steering pressure hose should be on a 1995 LS 400? Thanks!

For a hose, that is one expensive part! For the SC400, it's $320 from Carson Toyota.
Some have had success repairing the old one. If you search for more info, you'll find threads like this:

Look up custom hoses or hose manufacturers in the phone book for your area. These people build hoses of all types for cars, trucks, tractors, air craft etc. I had one power steering high pressure hose replaced with an aircraft hydraulic hose for $55.

Sounds like he is asking about a fair cost for the labor.
I had my PS pressure hose rebuilt today for $64.00, install cost for it and a new PS Pump totaled $200.00 dollars. $75.00 of it was for the hose. The same guy had to remove the original parts ofcourse.
New pump from Lexus cost was $350.00
A rather expensive day in LS400 land.

rebuild
I have had several mechanics recommend a rebuild. I'm told in many cases hydraulic shops can rebuild it while you wait and for less than $100. I have not done this yet but if there is no bad comment from your post on rebuilding I may go ahead in the next couple of weeks.
