Anyone Lengthen/Replace Battery Cables?
-go to home depot. get a hollow piece of copper pipe.
- place a piece of plywood over it
- take a BFH and flatten the pipe into a sheet.
- drill two holes on opposite ends of the pipe large enough for a screw to fit through.
- attach one scew through battery terminal and copper pipe on one end. attach the cable with other screw on opposite end.
- drink beer, your done.

Are you insane!!!?? You now have a live circuit out in the open. I hope to god you don't even accidentially have a metal tool touching that copper and then touch the other post!!!

Just get a longer cable from PepBoys/Strauss/etc. It actually can be a PITA on the SC400 since our alternator is under the engine and the cable connection is on the back of the alternator. But, still very doable. Beer helps! Trust me!
